So most of you have seen it already and I am so excited to share: a few months ago I have taken on a challenge of producing something completely different – a fashion story for the Offspring magazine. I have to say, a challenge like no other – that it was! It’s hard to believe just how much work goes into preparing for these kind of shoots, and many mistakes have been made along the way, but I am so very grateful for the learning curve, an amazing experience and the trust that was given to me by the editor!
Originally I had 3 different stories in mind, all to share my ideas of a happy Aussie childhood, the kind of things I want my kids to enjoy as they are growing up.
We ended up shooting just 2: a Royal Show inspired story, and some pool-side fun time. I can’t say ‘thank you’ enough to all the kids and parents who came along – all so well prepared and well behaved, I was completely amazed! And of course a HUGE thank you to my fabulous assistants who helped out with anything and everything: Kristy & Lauren, you are absolute champions and without you things wouldn’t run as smoothly! I am so grateful for your time and desire to be part of these exciting times!
And of course the vendors – wow, such a wonderful selection of clothes, shoes and accessories! Thank you to stork’s corner, MillaRuby designs, Magic Shoebox and Babes by the Beach: ladies, you were wonderful! Royal Show-inspired session took place at Kind Carnival park in Mandurah, and the pool-side – at the spectacular Next Generation Kings Park roof-top terrace.
I could say so much more, but rather will let you see the end result 🙂
